Reds dominate Zito, Giants
Sunday, April 27th, 2008
Barry Zito is terrible. Just god awful.
The Cincinnati Reds beat the hell out of the Giants 10-1 thanks to a 6 run first inning. Brandon Phillips went 3-5 with 2 homeruns and 3 RBI’s.
Zito being the piece of shit he is, got rocked for 8 runs in just 3.0 innings. The scoring began in the first when Phillips singled to shallow right scoring Joey Hairston. Next batter Joey Votto singled to right center scoring Corey Patterson and Jeff Kippinger. Not to be out done, Ryan Freel singled to left center scoring Brandon Phillips and Joey Votto.
The Reds weren’t done yet. Still in the 1st, Paul Blako tripled to deep right center scoring Freel. Later in the 2nd, Keppinger singled to score Patterson, and then in the 3rd pitcher Edinson Volquez grounded out to first scoring Freel.
Zito’s ERA went up to a modest 7.53 and he is now 0-6. This is getting ridiculous. TRADE BARRY ZITO.
The only option we have now is to send Barry to the bullpen, and let him get his shit straight. So far this season after 6 starts we are paying Zito $1.3 million per strikeout.
Yuck.

Ah Shit.
In a game where the pitching match up was meant to be a clash of titans, it was more of a shot of reality to the San Francisco Giants and their fans. Brandon Webb improved to 4-0 while Barry Zito went to 0-4. They are both the ace’s over their teams, yet only one pitches like it.
This season is getting long already, the Giants look like the Bad News Bears every time Barry Zito takes the mound. The Cardinals beat the Giants 8-2 giving Zito his third straight loss.
Saturday April 6th, 2009 -Milwaukee — Another start another loss. This looks to be a reoccurring theme. The Giants were beat 7-0 by the Milwaukee Brewers today. While Ben Sheets looked godly, Zito was back to his shitty form. He had a little help from our defense today, two errors were the cause of two of Zito’s five runs allowed. Although I am positive Zito would have allowed them to score regardless.
